2020/21 bar passers sign Roll of Attorneys
As part of the few remaining steps to finally set about their journeys as lawyers, the successful 2020/21 Bar candidates from all around the Philippines started signing the Roll of Attorneys on May 4, 2022.
As part of the few remaining steps to finally set about their journeys as lawyers, the successful 2020/21 Bar candidates from all around the Philippines started signing the Roll of Attorneys on May 4, 2022.
According to the notice dated May 3, 2022 issued by Assistant Bar Confidant Amor P. Entila of the Office of the Bar Confidant (OBC), there is one venue each for Mindanao, Visayas, and Luzon.
The Roll signing in Mindanao is at the Conference Room, West Wing of the Hall of Justice of Cagayan de Oro City. It is scheduled from May 26 to 28, 2022, all at 8:30 A.M. to 12:00 NN and at 1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
Those from Visayas may sign the Rolls at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Building in Cebu City on May 30 to June 3, 2022, while those from Luzon may sign at the SC compound in Manila on May 4-24, 2022 and June 6-17, 2022.
As requirements for the signing, the successful examinees must bring the following: two (2) valid IDs; a printed copy of the clearance e-mail sent by the OBC with a stamp as proof that they attended the oath-taking ceremony, and a digital photograph showing attendance to the oath-taking, if possible; and at least PhP4,750.00 for their Bar admission fee and other fees.
If the successful examinees choose to bring guests, they may bring 2 guests at most and pay PhP550.00 for each. They may also render their first payment of the PhP2,200.00 IBP dues at their respective venues.
The 2020/21 Best Bar Ever produced 8,241 successful examinees. They took their Lawyer’s Oath at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 2, 2022.
